1. What do you dream of being when you grow up? I am getting to do it right now. I love getting to serve and advocate for my favorite people - the families of Obunga.
2. How does that affect your community or make it better? I work hard when I love what I do and when I believe in it. I love and believe in these students and caring for them and pushing them to be all that God intended for them to be is something I wholeheartedly believe in. A movement starts when a group of people commit themselves to something bigger than themselves, especially if that movement is focused on honoring God, serving people, and empowering others to change their own lives.
3. What is something you want the world to know about you? I have been ridiculously blessed by the people that God has put in my life.
4. What is one place you want to go that you have never been before? Lord Howe Island, Maldives, Seychelles, Mauritius, Cambodia, Vietnam, Congo, Sudan, Afghanistan, Greece, Turkey, Argentina, Chile, Brazil….oh, forget it….i want to go everywhere!
5. What is one funny or unusual thing that has happened to you? I tore my ACL jumping over a creek in Obunga that I had no business jumping over. I was rushing to prove to a stranger that the Kenyan police really do blow a whistle and make everyone stop while they raise and lower the flag each day.
